(CercleFinance.com) – SLB (formerly Schlumberger) has finalized the previously announced creation of its joint venture with Aker Solutions and Subsea7, a joint venture called OneSubsea, which ‘will stimulate innovation and efficiency in subsea production’.
‘OneSubsea’s cutting-edge technology portfolio will improve the performance of subsea assets while increasing energy efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions,’ explains the oil services group.
Headquartered in Oslo and Houston with 11,000 people working across all key operating regions worldwide, OneSubsea is 70% owned by SLB, while Aker Solutions and Subsea7 have 20% and 10% shares respectively.
