Slight increase in retail sales in the euro area

(Boursier.com) — Retail sales, adjusted for seasonal variations, increased by 0.2% in area euro in August after remaining stable the previous month, announces Eurostat. A development in line with market expectations. Year-on-year, the retail sales index, adjusted for calendar effects, showed an increase of 0.8%.
