Slightly injured – due to braking maneuvers: woman (84) crashed into the bus

In the Innsbruck clinic, a bus ride for a local (84) ended on Wednesday afternoon. Because the bus driver (51) had to brake hard because of a cyclist, the woman fell. Fortunately, she was only slightly injured. The police are now looking for witnesses to the accident.

At around 4:25 p.m., three cyclists drove north on Maria-Theresien-Straße. At the same time, the 51-year-old steered the bus in the same direction immediately behind the cyclists. “At the level of the old country house, the first cyclist suddenly braked,” said the executive. The two cyclists following behind him could still avoid it.

Taken to clinic, slightly injured
The bus driver had to brake hard to avoid a rear-end collision. The 84-year-old fell and was slightly injured. The three cyclists, who probably didn’t even notice the incident, continued their journey. The woman was brought to the clinic by ambulance.

Witnesses to the accident are requested to report to the Innsbruck traffic inspection: 059133/7591
