During the first tens of minutes of Slime Rancher 2, you will probably go back and forth between the world, your farms and other interaction points, since the storage space you have is not not amazing. However, you can improve it in different ways, and we’ll explain how.
How to increase inventory in Slime Rancher 2?
Increase storage space
The first thing you will be able to increase is the storage space, that is to say the amount of the same resource that you will be able to transport. At the start of the game, you are limited to 20 units, but you will quickly be able to increase to 30 units per slot. To do this, you will have to go to the laboratory in the basement and go to the Blacksmith. Here, you will be able to click on the tank amplifier which will allow you to increase your storage space.
However, you will need to have 450 Neobucks and 10 Tiger Plorts, which is not very complicated.
Increase the number of slots
You can also add a slot to the four you already have. But this is a bit more expensive, considering you’ll have to shell out 1,500 Neobucks, 10 Rocky Plorts, and 10 Silky Sands. You will have to explore Rainbow Island to be able to find these resources and take advantage of a fifth location. As you can see in the picture, you can buy this upgrade through the Forger by clicking on Extra tank.
These are not the only possible upgrades, of course, but they will allow you to carry more items on your travels, and therefore save time by limiting trips back and forth. To save even more time, don’t hesitate to do various crops and chicken coops, with the aim of always having food nearby for your slimes.
