In Slime Rancher 2, you will have to raise slimes to evolve in history and in the world. However, to feed your slimes, as well as earn a lot more Neobucks, you’re going to need to have a nice supply of food. Don’t panic, you will be able to create fruit and vegetable cropsfor vegetarian slimes, but also to make a chicken coopfor omnivorous or carnivorous slimes.
We therefore explain how to create vegetable gardens/orchards and chicken coops in Slimes Rancher 2.
How to grow fruits and vegetables?
To harvest fruits or vegetables, whatever they are, you will have to go to one of your greenhouses. Only, instead of creating an enclosure for a slime, you will have to navigate through the menu and make a “Garden” for 250 Neobucks. Once you’ve crafted it, all you have to do is grab the resource you want to grow and deliver it to the receiver in a corner of the greenhouse.
Then the fruits or vegetables will start to grow and you can start a nice crop, allowing you to feed your slimes.
If you want to switch to another culture, without creating new greenhouses, you will have to delete it, via the menu, this time for 50 Neobucks.
How to make a chicken coop?
If you want to raise chickens, for your meat-loving slimes, you just have to follow the same steps, but instead of creating a garden, you will simply have to choose “Chicken coop”. Then you can do your little chicken farming and never run out.
We can only advise you to look into gardens or chicken coops (at least one of the two) to save time and thus be able to accomplish more tasks in your day, and therefore progress more quickly in Slime Rancher 2.
