If you are not used to Slime Rancher, you will probably ask yourself questions about capturing these creatures and breeding them, especially since in this second installment, several new features are brought. Among all the slimes that you will be able to cherish are the Phosphorescent Slimesbut it is not necessarily easy to capture them and even less to breed them.
How to find and breed Glow Slimes?
The first very important thing to know about these Slimes is that they can only be seen at night. Indeed, except in caves, you have no chance of finding a glow-in-the-dark slime in slime rancher 2. Thus, you will have to wait for the sun to go down to go in search of your Phosphorescent Slimes. These are light blue and glow in the night. You will have no trouble finding them, since they appear everywhere in the first world that you will explore.
Once you have captured them, you will have to put them in an enclosure, but it is imperative that it protects them from daylight. To do this, you will have to go near one of your greenhouses, the one in which you want to install your Glow in the Dark Slimes, and switch it to night mode by purchasing a Sun Shield, for 425 Neobucks. You can then install your slimes, remembering to put a net and high walls on them.
If you don’t buy sun shield, as soon as daylight comes out, your Glow in the Dark Slimes will disappear and you can’t find them. Finally, you will have to give them fruit, to collect their Plortes and earn money, but also improve your equipment and your skills.
