Snowfalls made for slippery roads and fire brigades on Wednesday evening. There was also a car accident. Several people were injured.
An 18-year-old from Feldkirchen drove on Liemberger Landesstraße from St. Urban towards Feldkirchen at around 6.45 p.m. In a sloping right-hand bend, the young man skidded with his car on the slippery snowy road. The car turned 180 degrees, got into the opposite lane and collided with the vehicle of a 42-year-old woman. The 18-year-old was injured and had to be taken to the Klagenfurt Clinic. The woman and her 20-year-old daughter, who was also in the car, were slightly injured. Significant material damage occurred on both vehicles.
