Even after 20 years (!) The “The Fast and the Furious” franchise shows no signs of fatigue or transmission problems. “Fast & Furious 9” started in the summer of this year – and became the fourth most successful blockbuster in 2021.

A whopping 726 million US dollars the film with Vin Diesel and John Cena recorded worldwide, which is an incredibly strong result at the box office for pandemic times. Unfortunately, fans and horsepower enthusiasts have to wait a little longer for the sequel “Fast & Furious 10”.

Only on May 19, 2023 it will be ready in the US cinemas (via deadline). The start of Germany will then probably take place a day earlier, even if there is no reliable information on this yet. So far, a cinema release on April 7, 2023 was planned for the first film of the two-part finale.

The (preliminary) finale of the “The Fast and the Furious” series will be split into two individual films in the “Avengers” style. “Fast & Furious 10” then follows at an as yet unknown point in time “Fast & Furious 11” or the second part of “Fast & Furious 10”. As in “Fast & Furious 9”, franchise icon Justin Lin takes the director’s chair of both plants.
