Smaïn evokes with emotion his crossing of the desert and his "fear of being forgotten": Femme Actuelle Le MAG

40 years ago Smain is present on the front of the stage but before coming back in force last fall by participating in the first season of Mask Singer, the comedian and actor underwent a short crossing of the desert. In an interview with Parisian, he spoke with great emotion about this period of his life, not wanting to hide it. "It's a job in which you have to have strong backs. In all careers, there is at one point a crossing of the desert, " he explained to our colleagues.

"Absolute success, flawless, is a lure, "assures Smain, who believes that"to be sidelined is painful, but also beneficial." The one who was adopted would even have changed after crossing the desert. "I became someone else, a dad, a responsible man with injuries, like everyone else. The fear of being forgotten exists, it's almost a panic fear, but I have always managed my life well, without going overboard. I've always worked and that's thanks to the basics that my parents gave me, "he clarified.

He raised his head through work

He could have given up, however Smaïn worked even harder to get by and overcome this moment when he was no longer in the spotlight. "I have never stopped working. From my first scene in February 1980 at the Caveau de la Bolée until today, I have never stopped, "he explained to our colleagues. And to continue:"Today, writing interests me more. I want to create, to continue to invent. I have become a father too, three times. And I'm about to start writing my first play."
