(AOF) – Smaio announces an operating profit for 2023 of 0.7 million euros compared to an operating loss of 4 million euros in 2022. The specialist in digital tools for complex spinal surgery posts a 2023 turnover at 7.6 million euros, up 212% compared to 2022. After neutralizing these intra-group implant sales operations, to only take into account sales of implants to hospitals, the group’s turnover came to 5.4 million euros, an increase of 120%.
The positive net result of 1.1 million euros in corporate accounts (-0.8 million in consolidated), attests to “good cost control in a context of growth and investment in surgical planning technologies using artificial intelligence.
Cash at December 31, 2023 amounted to 6.8 million euros compared to 5.7 million euros at December 31, 2022.
