The procedure for activating the RAM profiles is the same for Intel and AMD. You have to go into the UEFI settings, which either goes at boot with a keystroke, mostly [Entf.] or [F2]. Or you can use the advanced start under Windows and click through to the UEFI firmware.
Unfortunately, motherboard vendors don’t name their menus consistently, but if you find a “Tweaker” item, then you’re usually on the right track. You then just have to select a setting like “XMP” from the menu, sometimes there are also different profiles like “XMP I” and “XMP II”.
Choose one of them and save the settings. After a reboot, your system should be running with optimal RAM settings. If there are no setting options, your system probably simply does not offer any XMP.
