While Xiaomi launched its latest connected bracelet in Europe a few weeks ago, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, the Chinese manufacturer continued with the presentation, this Monday, of its new high-end bracelet, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro.

Behind this name “Pro” hides in fact a connected bracelet which seems to be particularly inspired by the Huawei Watch Fit or Huawei Band 7 bracelets. Concretely, more than a simple activity tracker, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro clearly looks like a connected watch with a screen larger than the bracelet itself, but which remains reasonable in relation to the shape of the product.

On the screen side, Xiaomi announces that its Smart Band 7 Pro is equipped with a 1.64 inch diagonal Amoled panel – against 1.62 inch for the Smart Band 7. It also benefits from a definition of 280 x 456 pixels, i.e. a density of 326 pixels per inch, similar to that of the Xiaomi Smart Band 7. The connected bracelet is also certified 5 ATM and can therefore, on paper, be used up to 50 meters deep . For materials, Xiaomi has opted for a plastic case with metallic borders as well as a polyurethane strap. This one, which hangs with a proprietary fastening system, can however be changed to a leather model.

GPS tracking directly integrated into the bracelet

On the health measurement side, like the Xiaomi Smart Band 7, the Smart Band 7 Pro benefits from a heart rate monitor and an analysis of oxygen saturation in the blood. Moreover, it improves the formula on two points. First, the bracelet can be used for geolocation, with an integrated GPS chip also compatible with Galileo, Glonass or QZSS. Then, the high-end bracelet will offer sports programs to users who can therefore configure different types of training. It must be said that this was a function that was missing from the model launched a few weeks ago. Xiaomi announces a total of 117 sports that can be followed from its Smart Band 7 Pro.

Regarding the battery, it is a 235 mAh accumulator which has been integrated into the Smart Band 7 Pro. Enough to allow, according to the manufacturer, up to 12 days of use in mode “classic” and 6 days in fashion ” intense “. For recharging, the bracelet can recover its entire battery in one hour.

For now, the Xiaomi Smart Band 7 Pro has been unveiled only in China. It is available in two colors – black or gold – at a price of 379 yuan, or 55 euros excluding tax. It is not yet known if the bracelet will be offered in France and at what price.
