Does it have to be a smartphone with a removable battery?

The selection of current smartphones with exchangeable batteries is small, so you should ask yourself whether it is absolutely necessary to have an easily exchangeable battery. Current top smartphones, but also mid-range cell phones, offer modern batteries that do not lose their maximum capacity even after several years of use. A short battery life can often be traced back to software problems.

Technologies such as Qualcomm Quick Charge allow the devices to be sufficiently recharged within a few minutes if the worst comes to the worst. If there are still problems with the battery, you can have permanently installed energy cells replaced in a specialist workshop.

In view of the small selection of smartphones with replaceable batteries, you should consider whether a device with a permanently installed “battery” might also be an option for you under these circumstances.
