As of this date, Snapchat has announced that it will make access to its conversational artificial intelligence free for all its users. A ChatGPT-like chatbot service previously reserved for paying subscribers and which will soon be able to respond to you and generate Snaps.
Simulate human interactions
Launched in February 2023 for paying members of the Snapchat+ program, the service is dedicated to answering everyday questions in a dedicated chat window. A successful test phase, according to a company spokeswoman, announcing ” 2 million messages per day“.
A more embodied AI
Snapchat announces new integrations of My AI in the application of the social network, now available to all users. First, the ability to make your version of the AI more personal: embodied by a 3D Bitmoji avatar, it can now have a name or wear the clothes you choose.
Likewise, My AI can now be added to your group chats. Regardless of the chat you are in, Snapchat indicates that you can address the chatbot as a full person by mentioning it via the character “@to ask him a question.
