After the death of the SNCF agent in Saint-Étienne, Loire, on April 3, the results of the first analyzes were revealed. We are talking about cocaine and crack cutting products.
According to information obtained by The Parisianthis April 5, 2023, the autopsy of the SNCF agent concludes to “death by overdose or poisoning“. Recall that on Monday April 3, around 7:30 p.m., the police intervened urgently at the station of Châteaucreux, Saint-Etienne, Loire. The concernedan SNCF agent in respiratory arrest was found dead by paramedics. The first elements of the investigation had made it possible to determine that travelers had given a bag to the official. This plastic bag contained two cubicles which served as a container for an unknown substance.
The SNCF agent had took a sip of this liquid thinking it was alcohol. Another of his colleagues, more careful, had just dipped her lips in it. After only 20 minutes, the unfortunate had vomited while being convulsed before losing consciousness. Note that the nuclear, radiological and chemical tests carried out by the firefighters were negative. The victim, a 41-year-old SNCF agent, was father of two children.
Death by poisoning or overdose
The first results of toxicological analyzes obtained by The Parisian revealed the presence of cocaine and crack cup in the liquid contained in the box. Our colleagues nevertheless point out that these elements still need to be consolidated. In any case, the autopsy confirms the death by poisoning or overdose. However, the link between the official’s death and the liquid in the cubicle has not yet been clarified. Moreover, the prosecutor of Saint-Étienne, David Charmatz, had declared that there was not yet enough solid elements to confirm this information.
