Snowfall and rain – Mrs. Holle sends first greetings to the central room

Rain and snowfall dominate the weather in Carinthia on Monday – the first snow has already reached the lower elevations.

Where the sun was shining yesterday, the weather is quite cloudy today. Rain and snowfall should subside by lunchtime and in Upper Carinthia the sun could occasionally show itself.

Snow line between 800 and 1300 meters
In some regions of Carinthia the first snowflakes have already fallen and have turned the green meadows into a winter landscape. Snow falls above an altitude of 800 to 1300 meters. The maximum temperatures on Monday are between four and nine degrees.

Improvement in sight
As early as Tuesday, the sun should show up all over Carinthia. The temperatures should not exceed ten degrees.
