Developed by the Norwegian studio Hyper Games, author in particular of the puzzle game Morkredd, released in 2020, this new production will take the form of a 2D adventure game, marrying the illustrated visual style of the works of Tove Jansson. We will embody Pipo (Snufkin, in English) in his confrontation with the Guardian of the Park and her flock, who disfigure the Valley of the Moomins by building abominable parks.
According to the first official information, it will be an open world, in which the player will be able to meet the most famous characters from the Moomin universe, each with their own narrative line and attached quests. Side gameplay, it is a question of an infiltration dimension, of enigmas but also of a musical side since Pipo will have to use his harmonica. A first trailer is already available.
Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley will be released in 2023 on PC and consoles (without it being known for the moment which machines are concerned).
