So true !: When mom's patience breaks

Things don't always go according to plan. And even if you actually know better, sometimes your collar just bursts. Don't worry – it's normal.

I know children need patience. That's my philosophy – mostly. Not today. One hour, two hours of acute autonomy. We're way too late and I'm about to throw myself on the ground (also) screaming. So I pound my stubborn little head through the streets. I know children need consistency. I can do that – sometimes. Not today. Instead, today there was a chocolate bribe in the supermarket and an I-am-too-tired-to-negotiate incident on top of it … Because the truth is, sometimes I just don't know what to do next. Fortunately, there is more to it than what I know – namely, what I feel. And my mom's heart can feel what my children really need: a hug in the evening and a mom who just does her best
