Société Générale: appointment of François Bloch


(CercleFinance.com) – Société Générale announces the appointment of François Bloch to the position of Director of the International Banking Networks in Africa, Mediterranean Basin and Overseas.

François Bloch will take up his position on November 1, 2023, replacing Laurent Goutard. He will report to Delphine Garcin-Meunier, Director of Mobility and International Retail Banking & Financial Services.

François Bloch joined the Group more than 30 years ago. He has held various key positions within international retail banking. He was Vice-President of Rosbank in Russia from 2012 to 2016. He was then General Director of BRD in Romania until September 2023.

‘His experience in retail and large client banking activities, as well as his in-depth knowledge of the management of Société Générale’s international subsidiaries, will be major assets in the exercise of his new functions’ indicates the group.
