(CercleFinance.com) – Societe Generale announces the completion on December 15, 2022 of its share buyback program for cancellation purposes launched on August 8, 2022.
Thus, 41,674,813 Societe Generale ordinary shares were bought back for a total amount of 914.1 million euros and will soon be canceled, indicates the bank.
In addition, Societe Generale began on December 16, 2022 a new buyback program for 2,707,207 Societe Generale shares in order to cover commitments to allocate free shares to employees and executive corporate officers of the Group.
The liquidity contract concluded with Rothschild will remain suspended for the duration of this program, specifies Société Générale.
