(Boursier.com) — On the occasion of the General Meeting of May 17, Frédéric Oudéa, Chief Executive Officer of Societe Generale since 2008, has announced that he will not seek the renewal of his term of office as Director and Chief Executive Officer in May 2023.
Lorenzo Bini Smaghi, Chairman of the Board of Directors, indicated that a selection process for the Chief Executive Officer has been decided by the Board of Directors on the proposal of the Appointments and Corporate Governance Committee by 2023.
It is reminded that the term of Frédéric Oudéa expires for the General Meeting of May 23, 2023.
The Board of Directors took note of this decision and “renewed its confidence in Frédéric Oudéa to lead the Group until this deadline”.
