Société Générale is looking for a buyer for Shine, the neobank intended for professionals that the group acquired in 2020, the newspaper Les Echos reported on Wednesday, without identifying its sources.
Contacted by Reuters, a spokesperson for Société Générale declined to comment on this information.
Société Générale’s desire to sell Shine is part of a broader restructuring strategy intended to relaunch itself on the stock market.
According to Les Echos, the bank has already approached several potential buyers for Shine.
