PARIS (Agefi-Dow Jones)–The collective catering and prepaid service voucher group Sodexo announced on Wednesday its exit from Russia, where it generated less than 1% of its turnover.
“Sodexo has ceded control of its operations in the country to the local management team, which continues operations in Russia through an independent structure and brand,” the group said in a statement.
In early April, Sodexo said it was considering its options for its “modest presence” in on-site services in Russia.
The group has no activity in Ukraine, the statement also recalls.
