Sodexo: Sodexo more confident for 2024 with rising prices and the Olympics


(Reuters) – Sodexo said on Friday it expects organic revenue growth for 2024 at the high end of the 6% to 8% range, helped by the upcoming Olympics and higher prices.

The Sodexo Live! was chosen to prepare meals for athletes during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris. This will lead to higher revenue in Sodexo’s fourth fiscal quarter.

The restaurant group, which spun off its Pluxee voucher business at the start of February, said prices were also expected to rise 4% in the financial year ending August 31 .

For the first half, Sodexo reported organic revenue growth of 8.5% to €12.1 billion, which is broadly in line with the consensus forecast of €12.03 billion. by the Society. “This internal growth in turnover is fueled, half, by the increase in prices, and for the other half, by the contribution of new contracts,” said general manager Sophie Bellon in a press release.
