Sodexo strengthens its commercial relationship with Ardent Health Services in the United States to improve the patient experience – 09/15/2022 at 18:15

Sodexo announces the signature of a new contract which strengthens the partnership with Ardent Health Services, a company specializing in healthcare in the United States. Through this enhanced partnership, more than 1,500 Sodexo employees will provide catering and nutrition services, as well as infection prevention services at more than 50 Ardent locations across six states. Until now, Sodexo provided nutrition and infection prevention services to patients at four Ardent sites.

Sodexo will continue to support Ardent in the implementation of standardized processes, new technologies and service delivery. This will allow Ardent to improve operational efficiency while improving the quality of patient care.

Effective immediately, Sodexo provides the following services to Ardent:

  • Patient catering and nutrition

The nutrition program developed by Sodexo is based on an individualized approach that offers patients the necessary nutritional support, promoting recovery and healing. Sodexo creates a tailor-made experience for patients, visitors and staff, adapted to their expectations. More than 2,500 Sodexo Registered Dietitians in the United States promote healthier living with patients and other stakeholders.

  • Infection Control Services

This Sodexo offering includes Protecta®, a comprehensive, evidence-based, integrated approach that reduces the incidence of hospital-acquired infections and helps healthcare facilities achieve their infection prevention goals.
