These new proceedings are part of a judicial investigation opened in Nanterre in 2019, where the elected official, aged 50, is indicted for thirteen counts, including “tax fraud», «fictional job” and “illicit financing of election expenses“.
The last indictments against him were pronounced on January 31, in particular for “passive influence peddling“. Thierry Solère sent AFP a letter from the HATPV on Tuesday explaining that the list of “all customersfrom a consultant was not a mandatory item to provide – which he said would clear him. Regarding the new indictments, Thierry Solère assured that his mother-in-law gave him “weekly activity reports” by email.
