Despite a smartphone sector at half mast at the end of the year, Realme intends to continue its good momentum and continue to gain market share in the entry-level and mid-range segment. And the Realme 10 Pro+ seems to have some serious upside to do just that. The young brand has just launched the smartphone in India, before a (very) likely arrival in Europe. The least we can say is that its technical sheet does not leave much to chance.

The mobile has a 6.7-inch curved OLED screen and Full HD + (2412 x 1080 pixels). It is HDR 10+ compatible and benefits from an image refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The brand announces that the lower border measures only 2.33 mm, which is particularly thin.

It is therefore a real move upmarket compared to the Realme 10 Pro (presented recently), which is satisfied with an LCD panel. With its 173 g on the scale and its relative thickness of 7.78 mm, it remains relatively compact.

To liven it all up, Realme opted for a Dimensity 1080 SoC from MediaTek, coupled with 6/8/12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. This chip engraved in 6 nm presents itself as the successor to the Dimensity 920, an efficient SoC which had proved convincing on models such as the Vivo V23 5G, the Mi 11i or the Realme 9 Pro +.

On the back, we notice the presence of a double circular photo block consisting of a 108-megapixel Samsung HM6 main sensor whose lens opens at f / 1.75. It is accompanied by an ultra wide-angle module with a 12 Mpx sensor (f / 2.2) while a 2 Mpx depth sensor completes the whole thing. A 16 Mpx sensor (f / 2.5) is housed in a central punch on the front for selfies.

It has a 5000 mAh battery compatible with fast charging at 67 W. The firm promises up to 50% charging in 17 min.

The smartphone is available in three colors (black, nebula blue and iridescent green). The 6/128 GB version costs 24,999 Indian rupees (about €288 excluding tax), the 8/128 GB version costs 25,999 rupees (about €300 excluding tax). The 8/256 GB model is sold for 27,999 rupees (around €322 excluding tax). Rates which will obviously be higher if it makes its way into France. However, we can expect a price of around €400, which would allow it to be particularly competitive in its segment.
