The gruesome fivefold murder in Solingen (D) rocked Germany and Switzerland a year ago. Now it is clear: Christiane K. * (28) has to be behind bars for life for her deeds.
The Wuppertal district court found the 28-year-old German guilty and determined the particular severity of the guilt. This means that a release from prison after 15 years is almost impossible.
Only the oldest was allowed to survive
Christiane K. gave birth to six children. Only one thing left the 27-year-old alive. Marcel, the firstborn (11). The five siblings (1, 2, 3, 6 and 8 years old) were drugged and either drowned or suffocated.
The trigger for the act, which caused horror across Germany, was, according to the investigators, a photo that showed the woman’s husband with a new partner at his side. The 28-year-old then announced to her husband via chat that he would not see his children again.
After the horror act, the mother drove the 11-year-old to Düsseldorf Central Station, put the boy on the train with his grandmother and then threw himself in front of an S-Bahn line 1. Christiane K. suffered serious, but not life-threatening internal injuries .
The defendant alleged that a stranger broke into her home, tied her up and killed her children. (zis / SDA)
