Solo cheat groups in Warzone are on the rise

Warzone’s Solo mode is meant to be an individual experience, with players fighting for survival on their own. However, more and more players are exploiting the system by attacking opponents in groups.

If you’re a regular Solo player or have recently taken part in this game mode, the chances of winning a Warzone victory may soon become almost nil. Indeed, since the beginning of April 2022, several reports of players teaming up in the individual mode have been circulating.

Since solos are meant to be won alone, players are furious about this and are adamant that teaming up should be considered cheating. In addition, it complicates the task of other players who, without suspecting it, will have to face more than one person at a time.

Warzone’s Solo mode remains one of the most popular in Batlle Royale.

Warzone Solo mode invaded by groups

A Reddit user by the name of u/afightguy posted a series of images to the Warzone subreddit titled “3 players teaming up solo with the same skins and classes.” The footage shows three identical Operators navigating Caldera as a group while playing solo.

Although this is a solo match, you can clearly see the players working together to get to the end. They also use similar classes, as all three of them are seen with a riot shield. This indicates that the plan to work as a group was calculated.

The footage also shows the Operators giving each other thumbs up, indicating that they are clearly conspiring. Although RICOCHET anti-cheat can detect cheats, it is powerless against this form of exploit.

A comment asks “Although teaming up in solos is a lousy thing to do. Is that considered cheating?” This question receives a unanimous yes answer as outraged players speak out in the comments.

If you’re an avid solo player, be on your toes, as you never know when you’ll encounter a team in your lobby.
