(CercleFinance.com) – Solvay announces an investment in Suanfarma’s Cipan manufacturing site located in Lisbon, Portugal, to expand its biotechnology capabilities and support the development of natural ingredients for food, flavors and fragrances.
This transaction, which is expected to close by mid-2023, is the first step in a long-term strategic alliance with Suanfarma, owned by ArchiMed, one of the world’s leading life science investment firms.
“This first step in our collaboration with Suanfarma allows us to effectively increase our existing capacities, including for our flagship natural vanillin, Rhovanil Natural CW,” added Jo Grosemans, Director Solvay Natural Growth.
