(CercleFinance.com) – Solvay announces that it has been recognized by the CDP for its commitment to suppliers in the common fight against climate change.
CDP’s disclosure and assessment process is recognized as the gold standard for corporate environmental transparency.
Solvay is in the top 8% of companies for supplier engagement in the fight against climate change, earning it a spot on the CDP Supplier Engagement Scorecard for 2022.
The assessment complements CDP’s results released in December 2022, in which Solvay was again given an A- rating in CDP’s climate change assessment.
“That CDP has named Solvay as Supplier Engagement Leader reflects both our greenhouse gas reduction targets and value chain emissions,” says Pascal Chalvon Demersay, Solvay’s Chief Sustainability Officer.
