Somfy and Atlantem announce a partnership to democratize the connected sliding window – 2022-12-19 at 18:07


(AOF) – Motorized equipment that can be controlled by smartphone is becoming increasingly integrated into the design of smart homes, with on the one hand individuals who aspire to more comfort in their daily lives and on the other hand growing issues of energetic performance. Based on this dual challenge, Somfy (a global company in the automation of openings and closings) and Atlantem (French manufacturer specializing in carpentry, closing and gates) have pooled their expertise to offer an automated and connected version of the AM-X sliding window.

For two years, the teams of the two manufacturers worked together to develop a tailor-made solution. Result of the alliance between the AM-X sliding door from Atlantem and the Somfy motorization, it combines the quality of a sliding door manufactured in France, which combines increased luminosity (fineness of the profiles), high energy performance (Uw = 1, 4 W/m2.K), and contemporary design to be defined according to a wide range of interior finishes (PVC, aluminum and wood) for overall aesthetic consistency,

It also combines ergonomics and the practicality of one-click control to manage opening and closing effortlessly.

German autonomy not so simple

China has been Germany’s leading economic partner for six years.
