It was in 2018, after 9 years of love and the birth of their daughter Kahina, that Jalil Lespert announced his separation from Sonia Rolland. A few months later, the former Miss France revealed to be at the origin of this rupture. “Separating myself had become obvious. Jalil and I had become friends. […] I was consuming myself from the inside. For two years, the emotional load has become too heavy. The lovebirds, who have been posting their happiness on social media since October 2020, finally made their relationship official by posing for the first time on December 15. For Christmas, Laeticia Hallyday and Jalil Lespet also unveiled their first family portrait, with Jade and Joy! During a portrait of the director, published in the Thursday, December 31 issue, the couple's relatives shared a few secrets. Jalil Lespert's sister even revealed why she was “worry" at the start of his relationship with Johnny's widow.
