As promised some time ago, SEGA has just released an animated short serving as a prologue to the next adventures of the blue hedgehog in Sonic Frontiers. A 6 minute long video that allows us to follow Knuckles on his adventures as guardian of the mother emerald.
A 100% Knuckles Adventure
In order to immerse you a bit in the serious atmosphere of this Sonic Frontiers, you can watch this 6-minute short film. We reunite with our favorite echidna on Angel Island who questions his duty as guardian of the mother emerald. In order to find answers, he decides to explore the island until he comes across a mysterious stele which transports him to an unknown place. Quickly, Knuckles is attacked by strange enemies and finds himself in trouble against a mysterious character.
If you have already inquired about Sonic Frontiers, you will no doubt understand the context of this prologue. If not, it might make you want to find out more alongside Sonic in the game. Apart from that, we can nevertheless salute the work of Tyson Hesse, Ian Flynn, Powerhouse Animation Studios, Evan Stanley, Tee Lopes, the Sonic Team and Tomoya Ohtani who makes us want to have a Sonic series of this size.
Sonic Frontiers will be released on November 8 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series and Nintendo Switch.
