The lack of a release date Sonic Frontiers would almost be talked about more than the content of the game itself these days. And for good reason, Sega keeps telling us that the game will not be postponed, and that it will arrive well in 2022. A statement that makes some skeptics given that the end of the year is fast approaching, with only four months in front of us. We think we will have the answer at Gamescom, as the title will be present at Opening Night Live, but before that, a new leak around the date begins to circulate.
So, November or December?
This is not the first time that we have seen leaks around the release date of Sonic Frontiers. It’s now believed that the title could arrive on December 3, but a new leak is throwing everything into question.
It comes to us this time from a Taiwanese merchant site (relayed by VGC), which has obviously posted promotional images of the title with mention of a November 15 release date. This leak also shows us that a DLC would already be planned for the game, while we can see the presence of Tails, Knuckles and Amy on a promotional image (which is not taken from the in-game engine). We’ll find out if all of this is true soon enough.
Sonic Frontiers is scheduled to release on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch.
