First officially announced during The Game Awards in December 2021, very little new information about Sonic Frontiers has hit the web since said event. But that was without counting on a recent speech by Sega America’s social media manager, Katie Chrzanowski.
Katie Chrzanowski took part in a Nintendo Life livestream a short time ago. On this occasion, Sega American’s social media manager wanted to reassure fans: Sonic Frontiers is still scheduled for the holiday season 2022. However, for the moment, no precise release date has been given.
However, we should have more information about Sonic Frontiers in the coming weeks or even months. Indeed, Katie Chrzanowski said: “ I see a lot of people wondering about [Sonic] Frontiers, we don’t have any news on Frontiers today, but don’t worry, you’ll hear more soon “. Thus, it is advisable to wait a little longer and to wait for a new communication from Sega, to know more about Sonic Frontiers.
As a reminder, the software will offer an open world experience, which would be a big step for the license. It is categorized as a 3D platformer. Sonic Frontiers should be coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC.
