Sonja Zietlow gets her own show on ZDF. In “Dog House” she arranges dogs for suitable owners.

RTL face and jungle camp presenter Sonja Zietlow (52) gets her own broadcast on ZDF. The broadcaster announced this on Sunday (April 11th). Zietlow will take care of the placement of dogs in “Dog House”.

In the adaptation of an already internationally successful format, Zietlow, together with a team of experts from the “Dog House”, will carefully examine the potential dog owners and convey the four-legged friends from an animal shelter accordingly. “Dogs have accompanied me through my life for 28 years now. Humans and dogs – that is a special connection, and I believe that I have a very special knack for arranging four-legged friends,” explains Zietlow in the ZDF announcement. The presenter is a dog owner herself and has been committed to animal welfare for many years.

The shooting starts in May at the animal shelter in Berlin. Initially, five episodes are planned, which are expected to be shown on ZDF at 2:55 p.m. from June 27, 2021.
