Sonos Ray: we guess its width thanks to an Ikea piece of furniture


Images of the Sonos Ray soundbar have leaked. Thanks to the furniture in the photos, we can try to guess its approximate size.

Sonos should soon unveil its new entry-level soundbar, the Sonos Ray. As this event approaches, information about it begins to flourish on the Internet, pulling the rug out from under the American brand.

Thursday morning is The Verge who claimed to know some of the specifics of the Sonos Ray. Now it’s a Twitter user by the name of SnoopyTech who posts numerous commercial images of the soundbar, in black or white.

On the one hand, we can thus discover packshots of the Sonos Ray, that is to say images of the sound bar close-up on a plain background. This also confirms the statements of The Verge concerning the connection since we do not see any HDMI port, but only an optical input and an Ethernet RJ45 port.

But even more interesting to get an idea of ​​​​the dimensions of the Sonos Ray, some photos are put in situation! We can thus admire what the sound bar can look like on a decorated TV stand.

We can therefore admire the Sonos Ray on a sideboard, but also on TV furniture in a more modern style and above all much more common. And for good reason: like us, Sonos gets supplies from Ikea when the need for furniture arises.

So we found the dimensions of some furniture to gauge, with a wet finger, the size of the Sonos Ray. When placed on top of the white cabinet, it is BYÅS cabinet. We see that the sound bar is slightly wider than the shelf containing the books, the latter measuring 50 cm wide.
