Originally slated for release in 2021 before being pushed back to May 20, 2022, Sons of the Forest, the horror and survival game developed and published by Endnight Games, is unfortunately the victim of a new postponement since its launch window has been postponed by several months. The title is now not expected until October 2022 on PC.
A release date deemed too ambitious

Over these past few weeks, we have realized that our May 2022 release date for Sons Of The Forest was overly ambitious. To be able to deliver our vision of the next step in survival games, we’ve decided to move our release date to October 2022

As explained by the developers on Twitter, “Over the past few weeks, we have realized that our May 2022 release date for Sons of the Forest was too ambitious. In order to be able to deliver our vision for the next stage of survival games, we have decided to move our release date to October 2022.”
See you at the end of the year to finally discover Sons of the Forest which, remember, will be available only on PC.
