More than two years after its announcement, Sons of The Forest soon to land on PC. Victim of several postponements, in particular because of the pandemic, which slowed down the speed of development, the studio Endnight Games Ltd recently shared a release window. Let’s hope that this one is final and is not modified any more.
Sons of the Forest release date
Thus, the sequel to The Forest, which is currently only announced on PC, haswill arrive during the month of October 2022. No precise release date has yet been given, but Endnight Games Ltd should tell us more soon enough. Initially, we should have seen it land on May 20 of this yearbut for several reasons, including COVID-19 which has had a very strong impact on the video game industry, this release date was postponed. The studio should communicate fairly quickly on the final release date of Sons of the Forest.
As a reminder, in Sons of the Forest, we find ourselves immersed in a hostile environment, with the aim of finding a billionaire who has disappeared. As a trained soldier, however, you will have to deal with many threats, including strange and dangerous creatures. Obviously, as in The Forest, crafting and exploration will be essential to progress, especially since the game will not give you a lot of clues. In addition, one of the new difficulties of this opus is the fact of having to face the four seasons, making certain periods, such as winter, much more complicated for survival, since food will be more scarce.
Like the first episode, Sons of the Forest will be playable solo or with others, thanks to cooperation. This will allow you to progress and explore faster, but also to better defend yourself against the various threats of this new island.
