With TheForest, Endnight Games succeeded in mixing the mechanics of horror and survival games, asking us to find our son on an island inhabited by horrible creatures. Its sequel, Sons of the Forest, is long overdue since its announcement to Game Awards 2019.
Already postponed several times, Sons of the Forest is due to arrive on February 23, 2023 on PC, and… it will be, but in Early Access. WhileEndnight Games should normally launch the final version of the game, it will finally take the same path as the first part with early access. The studio probably doesn’t want to delay the game’s release just yet, and it announcement already that a lot of content will be added after February 23rdsuch as objects and functionalities, without forgetting adjustments in the gameplay.
