Sony announces a State of Play this Tuesday, September 13, 2022 with 10 announcements

Clearly, the start of the school year is busy. With the Tokyo Game Show opening later this week, builders and studios are ready to make plenty of reveals. After Nintendo who confirmed a Nintendo Direct for this Tuesday, it’s the turn of Sony to announce a State of Play for this month of September. Here is the first official information.

Waiting for a real PlayStation Showcase?

This State of Play will air this Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 11:59 p.m., not to say midnight. If we do not yet know which titles will be shown, we do know that the presentation will last about 20 minutes, with announcements of new projects as well as updates and gameplay on already known games. In total, these are 10 games that should be shownwhich will be released on PS5, PS4 and PSVR2.

The games shown will be mostly Japanese, as Sony mentions in its official statement. Logical, since the Tokyo Game Show opens its doors. But there will still be some Western titles shown as well. God of War Ragnarok ? Resident Evil 4 Remake ? Horizon Call of the Mountain ? If you do not know the productions that will be presented, you can still bet a coin on one of these games, crossing your fingers for a new passage of Final Fantasy XVIwhich could be quite likely.

Also remember that Konami must make an announcement during the Tokyo Game Show and could take advantage of one of the shows of the day. However, we will remain cautious to avoid too much enthusiasm since the State of Plays have not always been surprising, and we were hoping for a real PlayStation Showcase conference. Our team will of course cover the announcements.
