sony still hasn’t given any news of a possible upcoming State of Play or a potential PlayStation Showcase which has been months overdue. But if we want to get an idea of what the manufacturer is up to behind the scenes, we can always count on the leaks which do not spare the major players in this environment. During the weekend, Sony paid the price since a video of a game that would be in development for the playstation5 has surfaced and unveils a brand new third-person shooter license, if rumors are to be believed.
Sony is preparing its own Gears?

It is said that this video would introduce us to a game developed in part by XDev (internal studio at PlayStation) in the company of an external studio for the moment unknown. We would see five small seconds of an obviously unfinished version ofa new license, developed on the Unreal Engine 5, which would take place in a science fiction universe and which would be of the RPG type. In view of this description and the video, we understand why many Internet users have quickly compared this to a merger between Gears of War and Mass Effectalthough it will be necessary to wait for the final product to fully judge it.
To add some weight to this leak, insider DuskGolem (who is known for leaking horror games like resident Evil Where silent Hill) claims to have seen a little more of it, stating that the game was fully dubbed and now much more finished than what can be seen here on video.
We will take everything with a grain of salt while waiting for Sony to react or officially unveil this supposed new license.
