Sony unveiled its new ranges of televisions as well as its home audio products, always with the objective of offering a cinematic experience at home. We now know a little more about the amount you have to pay to equip yourself with one of the latest televisions or a soundbar from the Japanese manufacturer.
As expected, Sony’s new ranges maintain consistent prices, that is to say quite high, compared to previous models and those which remain in the catalog this year, like the Sony BRAVIA A95L and A90K.
Availability in France from the end of May
Bringing together all the current display technologies, the Sony BRAVIA catalog takes a slight turn this year with the launch of the Mini-LED and OLED BRAVIA 7, BRAVIA 8 and BRAVIA 9 series.
As mentioned in our article dedicated to the presentation of these new televisions, Mini-LED technology is at the top of the bill this year, with the BRAVIA 9 which brings together the latest innovations from the manufacturer, but also with the BRAVIA 7 which aims to be more accessible. The OLED offer is not sidelined, far from it, with a new entry in the catalog, the BRAVIA 8, as well as the A95L and A90K which continue to be distributed.
Sony televisions are not arriving alone and will be accompanied by the manufacturer’s home audio products, which include two new soundbars, a home cinema system and a neckband speaker. All of these new entries in the Sony catalog will be available in France from the end of May.
Prices announced “from”…
Sony only mentions the minimum prices of its new references in its latest press release. We thus know the prices of home audio products as well as those of televisions, but only for the smallest diagonals. We will have to wait a little longer to know the full pricing of the range of televisions. In the meantime, here are the prices known to date for Sony televisions:
- BRAVIA 7: from 2,199 euros (available in 65, 75 and 85 inches)
- BRAVIA 8: from 2,199 euros (available in 55, 65 and 77 inches)
- BRAVIA 9: from 3,999 euros (available in 75 and 85 inches)
The prices for the Sony home audio catalog are as follows:
- BRAVIA Theater U: from 300 euros
- BRAVIA Theater Quad: from 2,700 euros
- BRAVIA Theater Bar 8: from 1,000 euros
- BRAVIA Theater Bar 9: from 1,400 euros
