Despite the public and critical failure of Morbius, Sony Pictures wants to continue to push its cinematographic productions around the universe of Spiderman. Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse still saw the release dates of its two parts delayed, as well as the project Madame Web. The feature film on Kraven the hunter with Aaron Taylor-Johnson is more relevant than ever.
The first images of the project scheduled for January 13, 2023 in the United States were indeed shown off-camera to the public of the CinemaConor Sony Pictures made several interesting announcements. This wrestler unknown to neophytes, whose real name is Juan Carlos Estrada Sanchez, is part of a family that passes on a mask conferring superhuman strength from father to son. The rite of passage involves beating the mysterious Eldorado in order to inherit it, but Juan Carlos having refused the fight, he saw his father forced to sacrifice himself to protect him. Clement, Eldorado granted him life and the precious artifact anyway, on the condition that he unmask another worthy fighter within 10 years to redeem himself: Spiderman has therefore logically become his nemesis.
We don’t know how this wacky storyline will be adapted, but it’s already been confirmed to be. And otherwise, Sony Pictures also confirmed thatthere will be another new one ghostbusters after Ghostbusters: The Legacy, without giving a release date or actor attached to the project. The latter is also available on Blu-ray from €24.99 on Amazon.co.uk.
