Soon a series on Darth Vader with Hayden Christensen

After disappearing from the radar for several years, Hayden Christensen has officially made his return to the Star Wars universe with an appearance in Obi-Wan Kenobi where he returns to his iconic role. While rumors suggest he could also reprise his role in Ahsoka, the actor admitted he wouldn’t mind getting his own show too.

For the past few weeks, the Star Wars community has been in turmoil. It must be said that at this time the good news is linked!

On May 4, The Bad Batch series debuted on Disney+ and at Star Wars Celebration 2022 Anaheim fans were treated to news about The Mandalorian Season 3, as it was announced. Skeleton Crew with Jude Law as headliner and trailer for Andor, the prequel to Rogue One. All this, just before being able to discover Obi-Wan Kenobi on Disney+.

Barely recovered from their emotions, fans were therefore able to welcome with fanfare the return of an iconic character from the Star Wars universe, Obi-Wan Kenobi, still played by Ewan McGregor. But that’s not the only comeback they got, Hayden Christensen aka Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader was also there.

For many Internet users, this return adds weight to rumors which suggest that the actor could also appear in Ahsoka, a spin-off whose filming has just started recently. It must be said that it is hard to imagine a series on Ahsoka, without her former master having seen the chapter, if only with the help of flashback.

A series on Darth Vader with Hayden Christensen?

While Hayden Christensen seems to be on track to make a comeback in the Star Wars universe, several voices have been raised on the web, calling for a spin-off on Darth Vader, an idea that is far from displeasing to the actor.

“I find that this character resonates in our culture in a profound way. There are probably still things to explore. There are so many stories that have been told through other mediums. I would love to continue my adventure with him”, he told ET Canada.

It is unfortunately still too early to say if this idea will ever materialize, but while Star Wars is more than ever on the rise and the series continue to multiply, nothing seems impossible.
