soon there will be charging stations in hotels under the Accor brands

Electric vehicle charging stations will be deployed in the hotels of the Accor group brands such as F1, Ibis, Mercure or Novotel, by the company Electra, which has concluded an agreement with AccorInvest, owner of buildings and hotel operator of a park of 800 hotels.

From the end of 2022, 68 establishments “mainly located in urban areas” will be gradually equipped with “fast and ultra-fast charging stations”, – i.e. a total of 362 charging points – “starting with Paris and Lyon”, specifies a joint press release on Thursday.

These charging stations, “fully supplied with green energy, will be accessible to all”, “hotel customers, roaming individuals or even professional fleets (taxis, VTC, logistics, car sharing, etc.)

The hotel car parks will be accessible 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and motorists “will be able to benefit from hotel services while charging their vehicle”, specify the partners.

Co-founded in 2021 by Aurlien de Meaux, Augustin Derville and Julien Belliato, Electra will be responsible for installing and operating the stations.
