Fitness YouTuber Sophia Thiel found her love happiness in lockdown. Now she officially introduces the new man at her side.
YouTube star Sophia Thiel (25, "Fitness Sweets") is happy again. After deliberately withdrawing from the public eye in 2019, love suddenly knocked on the door. Now, in a new video, she introduces the man with whom she has been together for over a year – and they already share an apartment.
He is also at home in the fitness world
Thiel and Raphael Birchner (24) have known each other since 2015. At that time, the athlete was still in a relationship. When this broke up in 2017, the sports enthusiast quickly aroused her interest. In her new YouTube video, Thiel says: In 2018, she had a real crush on Birchner. At the time, however, the enthusiasm did not seem to be based on mutuality. Birchner admits today: He too had been a fanboy of the 25-year-old for a long time and "never expected Sophia to hit me up".
The contact ebbed. In November 2019, it was finally Birchner who sent Thiel a message and asked how she was. They agreed to meet for their first date in a coffee house and from then on – after Birchner had let Thiel fidget for two days – it was the two of them. They wrote "every day from morning to night," says Thiel of the beginnings of their relationship. On January 12, 2020, they made it official.
Thiel raves about "unconditional love"
Since then, the couple reports, they have spent almost every day together. Not least because of the lockdown. And so it came about that the next decision was made very quickly: Birchner moved in with the fitness YouTuber, they live together in Munich. Today the 25-year-old speaks of "unconditional love" and raves about the feeling that he gives her "to be special".
