While Sophia Thomalla's Instagram account has become a little quieter, Mama Simone Thomalla can be seen on TV. In the MDR talk show "Riverboat", the actress chats out of the box – and daughter Sophia also comes up for discussion.
So Simone Thomalla gave her child a piece of advice on the way: "That she should be independent, that she should go her way. I think that's the most important thing." Aha! So now we know where Sophia Thomalla got her tough attitude from.
Sophia Thomalla and Mama Simone are not friends
When asked whether they were friends, the mother had a clear answer: "No, Sophia insists on that too." They are more like mother and daughter – because friends come and go. Sophia doesn't always seem to share secrets with her mom either, as she reveals: "I don't think she tells me everything either, she doesn't have to – because I know everything as a mother anyway."
And how does Simone feel how her daughter is doing? "You can see that, you just have to look the child in the eye." Yes, even a Sophia Thomalla cannot hide from the eyes of a mother, who is rarely seen on the cards.
Finally Simona Thomalla also talks about the free movement of the model. After all, Sophia likes to make headlines in tight outfits. Does your mother mind? "No!", She answers confidently, "I only wish that my child is happy and if that is now – although I doubt it – it is not always something that has to make you happy, there are many other things in life. "
Oops! Did Simone Thomalla give a tiny glimpse into the real emotional life of her daughter? The statement sounds at least as if her professional career does not currently make Sophia happy.
Either way: At the end of the interview it becomes clear that the Thomallas are ultimately a completely normal family: "I know Sophia from other situations", adds Simone Thomalla. Because even a Sophia Thomalla is not always standing in short leather pants on the building – but is sometimes lying comfortably with mom on the couch.
