Sad lines to a Hammer dress

Presenter Sophia Thomalla wore a very special dress for the “Woman of the Year” award ceremony, with which she associates great feelings.
Presenter Sophia Thomalla (32) received the “Woman of the Year” award from “Look!” magazine on Tuesday in Vienna in the “Lifestyle Business” category. She appeared at the award ceremony in an unusually cut black dress, which covered everything on one side and was only held together with a ring at the chest and hips on the other.
But not only the cut was special, the emotions that the award winner associates with it are also remarkable. “I’m wearing my very last Sascha Gaugel dress for this special event,” she captioned a photo of herself in the dress on Instagram. She commemorated the designer and stylist, who died unexpectedly a little over a year ago at the age of 46 in his Hamburg home.
He was a close confidante
“The news hit me like a blow and I’m still in shock,” the shocked Sophia Thomalla aired her grief on Instagram in mid-February 2021.
“Sascha was not only my stylist for almost 10 years, but was also, together with his partner Kalle, one of my closest confidants. Concerns were shared, family celebrations were celebrated together and there was a lot of laughter. The job was rather secondary”, Thomalla described the close relationship at the time. “I will miss him so incredibly.”
